If you can handle the cold, dive into the Atlantic Ocean for a good cause. All proceeds raised will support the Philadelphia Police Fallen Heroes Fund, MRSA Awareness, and local student scholarships. The forecast suggests a little rain on the horizon, so bring a warm jacket and your favorite umbrella. The plunge begins at 11 a.m. at 15th Street on North Wildwood Beach. Saturday, February 23 | Cherry Hill High School West – Cherry Hill, NJ
The African American Culture Clubs of Cherry Hill High Schools East and West will present a Black History production entitled “A Seat at the Table” on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cherry Hill West’s auditorium. The event will take a look at a history of firsts for African Americans. Tickets are $5 per person.
Multilingual Storytime with Miss Surinder

Every wonder what your favorite fairy tale sounds like in Punjabi, or Hindi? “Multilingual Storytime” at Burlington County Library will take your imagination to new heights as Miss Surinder reads from folktales in various languages. Use your inspiration to stay and make a fun themed craft. The cost is free and the event will begin at 2 p.m. – attendees are encouraged to register in advance.
Saturday, February 23 | Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge – Medford, NJ
Whooo doesn’t adore owls? If you do, this is the perfect time of year to visit them in their natural habitat. So put on those hiking boots, bring your best pair of binoculars, and journey through the forest in search of their nests. You will also have a chance to meet the refuge’s resident owls. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members – advanced registration is required.
Sunday, February 24 | Moose Lodge – Lindenwold, NJ
Join your fellow nerds and hero enthusiasts in Lindenwold, for a fun day of action figure collections and character dress-up. Artists and writers featured in Marvel and DC Comics will be there, so geek out and bring a few of your comic books with you. The event begins at 10 a.m. and the cost is $3 – kids age 12 and under are free!
