Atlantic City Boat Show

Atlantic City Convention Center | March 1, 2, and 3

If you love boats, or want to learn more about them – the Atlantic City Boat Show is your chance. Join in on interactive classes – experience Progressive’s Oculus Rift virtual-reality experience –  or participate in the Touch-A-Boat Tour, boarding real boats and imagining life as a captain on the high seas. Tickets are $16 – children 12 and under are free.

 

Serenade for Wildlife

Lord of Life Lutheran Church – Tabernacle, NJ | March 3, 2 pm

Support animals and nature while enjoying an afternoon of light classical music, performed by local musicians and guests from the Philadelphia Orchestra. Tickets are $20 each and all proceeds benefit the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Dr Suess Funtastical Night

Burlington County Library – Westampton, NJ | March 1, 6 – 8 pm

Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! Celebrate this classic children’s book author with a night of crafts, games, and of course story-time. Oh, there’s so much to see on Dr. Suess night at the library. It’s free, no registration is required and all ages are welcome.

 

Create Your Own Masterpiece: Painting Event for Seniors

Camden County Environmental Center – Cherry Hill, NJ | March 2, 11 am

Calling all seniors (ages 55 and up), show off your inner Picasso at this fun filled, Bob Ross-like step-by-step painting party. No need to stop at an art store beforehand, all painting supplies will be provided. Broaden your understanding of the African American experience as the Camden County Library screens a documentary titled, “Black Memorabilia”, exploring the market of racist collectible items around the world.

 

Equestrian Center Cowboy Show

Dream Park – Logan Township, NJ | March 2 and 3, 9 am – 4 pm

Put on your cowboy boots, and watch some real cowboys swing their lassos and show off their ranch-sorting skills. The event celebrates and demonstrates the traditional skills used in modern cowboy competitions. The show is free, call for more details (856-241-1415).
