Things to do in South Jersey this March

Spring is back! (Almost.) And it’s time to leave the house and enjoy the many, many events that South Jersey communities have to offer. 

 

South Jersey Home Show
March 1 & 2 
Let’s face it, home is where the beautiful decor, latest tech and jaw-dropping kitchens are. And you can find all of that and more at the Flyers Training Center during the South Jersey Home Show. The show is free with advanced registration, or $10 at the door, and runs from 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. For more information, visit the website.

 

Wizard of Oz on Ice 
March 7 
Follow the yellow brick (ice) road to meet the wizard during this production of “Wizard of Oz on Ice” at the Levoy Theatre. The show starts at 7 pm, and the Vaudeville Bar will be serving beverages starting at 6 pm. Tickets cost $22 for children and $35 for adults. For more information, visit the website.

 

Market Madness
March 8 & 9
Explore the finest shopping Ocean City has to offer when their shops come together under one roof for a weekend of shopping and specials at Market Madness. Hosted at the Civic Center, the event runs from 11 am to 5 pm each day. Entrance is free. For more information, visit the website.

 

Lines on the Pines 
March 9 
The Pine Barrens is coming to Stockton University for a festival of arts, live music, history from local historical societies, book-signings and more during the 20 year celebration of Lines on the Pines. Purim: It’s all about the dough
March 9 
Celebrate Purim with the Katz JCC during a sensory experience with dough, Purim-themed crafts and treats. The event runs from 2 to 3:30 pm, and tickets cost $22 for members, $27 for nonmembers. For more information, visit the website.

 

Lil’ Bugs Club
March 12
Camden County invites curious kids to learn about the world of insects during its Lil’ Bugs Club, hosted on the second Wednesday of each month at the Camden County Environmental Center. Wild (Collings) West Party 
March 15
Get a little wild on the mechanical bull during West Collingswood Revitalization Committee’s annual fundraiser, featuring local restaurants, live music, dancing and, yes, a mechanical bull. The event starts at 6 pm, and tickets range from $35 to $95. For more information, visit the website.

 

Workhorse Rides
March 15
See the horses of Howell Living History Farm get to work and climb aboard a fully harnessed workhorse for a ride down the lane during this program for kids ages 5 to 12. The program is free and runs from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website.

 

Spring Artisan Market
March 22 & 23 
Stock up on gorgeous artisan works as 50+ artists offer handcrafted jewelry, pottery, skincare, gourmet treats and more at Grounds For Sculptures’ Spring Artisan Market. The market runs from 9 am to 5 pm and is included with entry to the park. For more information, visit the website.

 

Modern Masters Drawing Class
March 25 
Explore the work of master artist Paul Klee, and then create your own art in his style during the Worker’s House & Gallery Modern Masters Drawing Class. For adults and teens 12 and over, the free event runs from 5:30 to 7 pm. For more information, visit the website.

 

Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival 
March 29 
Music and beer. Name a better way to spend the weekend. We’ll wait. Head down the Shore for a festival with over 100 breweries, live music, food, games and more at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Special Olympics NJ Spring Games
March 29 & 30
Cheer on the athletes during the 2025 Special Olympics New Jersey Spring Games Basketball Tournament, hosted throughout Wildwood. Admission is free and a full schedule is available at the website.
