Things to Do in South Jersey this November

We know it’s tough, but put that cozy blanket aside, grab the family and head outside to check out these fun, artistic and heartfelt activities happening throughout South Jersey. 

Fall into the Arts Photography Show 

Nov. 7 – 30 

Stop by Croft Farm Arts Center to see the entries of this year’s Fall into the Arts Photography show. The gallery will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 am to 2 pm (early closing on Nov. 22) and Thursdays, check website for hours. A special reception will be held on Nov. 9 from 6 to 7:30 pm where visitors can meet the photographers and buy art on display. For more information, visit the website

Collingswood’s 2nd Saturday

Nov. 11 

Have a night on the town filled with arts, music, shopping and dining along Collingswood’s Haddon Avenue. The event runs from 5 to 9 pm. For more information, visit the website

Veterans Day Ceremony

Nov. 11 

Honor our veterans aboard the Battleship New Jersey during its Veterans Day ceremony, featuring remarks from Director of Camden County Veteran Affairs, Col. Ted Gallagher USA (ret.), and a performance of TAPS and the National Anthem. The ceremony begins at 11 am on the front deck. For more information, visit the website


Nov. 11 

Get up-close-and-personal with trucks from local industries at the Roebling Museum’s Touch-a-Truck! event. The event, rescheduled from Oct. 21, will run from 10 am to 3 pm. For more information, visit the website

Family Mitzvah Project

Nov. 12 

Help put a smile on the faces of families with a loved one in the hospital. Volunteers can put together family craft activity kits for families at the Ronald McDonald House during Katz JCC’s event. The event starts at 3 pm at the Katz JCC. For more information, visit the website

Holiday Craft & Collectibles Show

Nov. 24 & 25

Crafters from all over the Northeast are flocking to Cape May to show off their handmade wares for the holiday season. Stop by to get a jump on your holiday shopping. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm each day at Cape May Convention Hall. For more information, visit the website

Holiday DickensFest

Nov. 24 & 25 

The spirit of Christmas returns to Historic Smithville as Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company presents an original musical adaptation of “A Christmas Carol.” Performances start at 1 and 6 pm on Saturday and at 1 pm on Sunday.
