We’re in our main character era.
And our be better era.
And our have fun era.
Ok, we’re in a lot of eras. And that can get a little overwhelming and confusing, so we’re also getting into our 75 soft era – a trend you’ve probably seen on TikTok where you make a list of small tasks to complete every day for 75 days.
It’s called 75 soft because it’s the less intense version of 75 hard (which includes TWO 45-minute workouts a day). People have used it to get stronger, de-stress, learn a new skill and just improve their wellness overall. And if you start on April 1, the last day of your challenge will be June 15.
So here are some things we’ll be adding to our list for the next 75 days.
Drink more water – we’re going to aim for at least 80 oz. a day, just for fun
Get at least 5,000 steps a day (bonus points if you get them outside)
Speaking of being outside, go outside for at least 15 minutes each day
Read at least 10 pages of a self-help book
Complete one 30-minute workout 6 times a week, with one day being active rest
Spend 15 minutes learning something new
Eat a well-balanced diet and only drink alcohol on social occasions
Do 10 minutes of mindfulness practice each day (it can be meditating, journaling, making a list of what you’re grateful for, etc.)
Say one positive thing about yourself each day
The beauty of the 75 soft/hard challenge is that you can customize it to your own goals. Want to focus on getting stronger? Up those workouts to 45-minutes. Need to touch grass more? Go outside twice a day. It’s your world, the rest of us are just living in it.
