Let’s keep the fun going this fall with these free South Jersey events!
Nov. 12
The dinosaurs are loose in the Bellmawr library and it’s up to you to find them all. Once you do, trade in the dinosaurs to win a sticker, candy or temporary tattoo. The scavenger hunt is ongoing throughout the day, so stop by at any point to play along.
Nov. 15
Feel the holiday spirit with crafters, Santa and food vendors at Winterfest by the Sea. The event runs from 9 am to 3 pm at the Sports & Civic Center in Ocean City.
Nov. 20
Feel the groove with the whole family with a session of rhythm and music-based games to promote hand-eye coordination, social interaction and cooperative play. The event is hosted from 10:30 to 11:15 am at Maple Shade Library.
Weekends starting Nov. 29
Dashing through the snow…except it’s not snow, it’s one of our favorite seaside towns. Ocean City’s annual horse and carriage rides are back from noon to 3 pm, leaving from 6th and Asbury Aves.
Nov. 29 & 30
Historic Smithville comes alive as the Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company presents their two-day outdoor musical adaptation of “A Christmas Carol,” performed on three stages throughout the town. Performances begin at 1 and 5 pm on Saturday and at 5 pm on Sunday.
Dec. 5-7
Sip hot chocolate, sit by the fire, listen to live music, visit the family fun zone, say hi to Santa and enjoy so much more holiday fun all weekend long at the Hammonton Rotary Club’s 3rd Annual WinterFest. Hosted at Our Lady of Mt. Camel Carnival Grounds, the event runs from 4 to 9 pm on Friday, 11 am to 9 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
