Two Eagles Are Headed to the Pro Bowl – Again

Jason Peters and Fletcher Cox will be ending what has been a tough season for the Philadelphia Eagles on a high note. The left tackle and defensive lineman were named to the 2017 Pro Bowl, marking two milestones for the players.

This will be Cox’s second consecutive appearance at the star-packed game and Peters’ seventh. With this year, Peters joins an exclusive list of Eagles players who have the most Pro Bowl appearances – Brian Dawkins with seven, Reggie White with seven and Chuck Bednarik with eight.

Both players are assets on the field. Cox, voted the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month in September, has 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery this year. Coming to the end of his 13th season in the NFL, Peters has been to the Pro Bowl every year since joining the Eagles in 2009.

You can watch these two powerhouse players in the Pro Bowl on January 29.
