Last night was easily the most emotional experience of my 35 year career as a reporter.
I’ve dedicated 25 years of my life to this story — the Eagles quest for a Super Bowl title. That’s a lot of sacrifice by me and — especially — my family.
Last night was the payoff. I was happy that the best story — Nick Foles beats Tom Brady — prevailed.
In our home and the homes of millions of Eagles fans throughout the region, there was elation and satisfaction and closure.
