On the first day of training camp 2018, I texted Eagles head coach and Moorestown resident Doug Pederson and asked him what message he delivered to his team about moving on from the Super Bowl championship season and preparing his team for 2018 season, defending the team’s first pro football title. Here was his reply:

“Good morning Sal. It will be great to tell our story again as we start training camp. My message was simple to the guys, we need to embrace this opportunity we have before us and focus on today and not the end result. Get better starting today. We can’t sacrifice our preparation and hard work.”
