Christina Grimmie and Jacquie Lee became friends after both teenagers made it to the finale of NBC’s “The Voice” – Lee in 2013 and Grimmie in 2014.

When Grimmie was fatally shot this summer, Lee was devastated and had trouble dealing with the tragedy. After an encounter with a homeless woman, who described Grimmie as somebody’s angel, she decided to honor the Marlton native with an original song of the same title.
