Camden County Police Hit the Ice For A Good Cause

The Camden County Police Department will hit the ice this weekend to help out a former officer.

Camden County PD will face off against Toms River PD on February 18 to raise money for Officer Brett Hansen.

In January, Hansen was seriously injured in a car crash while off duty. His extensive injuries make his return to police work unlikely.

The 28-year-old served as an officer for Camden County until 2015, when he transferred to the Toms River Police Department.

The match starts at 7 pm at Winding River Ice Rink and costs $10.

The Toms River Police Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association will also collect donations for the “Brett Hansen Fund.” Donations can also be made to the “Friends of Brett Hansen” GoFundMe page.
