1. Jalen Hurts’ father, Averion, was his high school football coach. 
2. As a high school senior, Jalen passed for 2,384 yards and rushed for 1,391 yards. 
3. Hurts was also a powerlifter in high school, squatting 500 pounds as a sophomore. 
4. In 2023, Hurts was included in the TIME 100 Next list. 
5. Hurts employs an all-female management team in an effort to empower women in the sports field. 
6. For the NFL’s 2023 My Cause, My Cleats campaign, Hurts spotlighted KB Foundation and Channelview, which both support youth in the Philadelphia area and Texas area, respectively. 
7. You can hear Hurts on the 2022 A Philly Special Christmas album (during Santa Claus is Coming to Town). 
8. Hurts currently has a pending request to trademark the phrase HURTS SO GOOD. 
9. Hurts starred in the NFL and Olympics’ announcement that flag football would be included in the 2028 Olympic Games. 
10. The Jalen Hurts Foundation develops and promotes local opportunities for youth advancement and self empowerment. The org has provided 300 air conditioning units to the Philadelphia School District, among other initiatives and events.
