I would have loved to see Freddie Mercury/Queen perform at Live Aid.

I would go back to the day my great grandparents arrived in America at Ellis Island from Russia and Poland. I would love to see their reaction seeing the Statue of Liberty.

I would want to witness the first moon landing in 1969. Seeing humanity take that giant leap into space must have been an awe-inspiring and unifying moment.

I’d like to go see people invent things, like the airplane or an appliance we use every day. Or maybe I’d just spend a few months with Albert Einstein.

Being able to watch the construction of the Egyptian pyramids would be mind-blowing.

I would want to stand on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and hear Martin Luther King Jr. deliver his “I Have a Dream” speech in person, feeling the energy and love of the crowd.

I would like to see the Declaration of Independence being written and signed in Philadelphia. Independence Hall is always a must see when I have friends and family visit.

I would like to go back to the very beginning, the big bang – and see the beginning of life as we know it.

I would like to go back to the time of Jesus and personally witness him teaching. This is not a religious thing, but a curiosity of the historic figure called Jesus of Nazareth.

I can’t imagine what seeing an early-year Beatles concert would be like – I’d love to do that. I don’t think it would compare to anything I’ve seen in my lifetime.

It was really hard to nail down a specific moment in history, but I guess it would either be the Boston Tea Party or The March on Washington. Even though they are vastly different events, they are both moments in history where people held strong beliefs and united into actions with one another to enact change.

I would’ve loved to see JFK’s inaugural address to see the youngest president elected and hear his message of “And so, my fellow Americans: Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” He then continued by addressing his international audience: “My fellow citizens of the world: Ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.” It’s what we need right now, something to bring our country together and to feel a little closer to each other.

I’d like to go back to the time we lived in caves. I wouldn’t stay long, but I think it would be cool to see people drawing on cave walls to communicate. Actually, maybe I’ll just go for an hour.

I think it would be great to see some of our South Jersey towns – Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Moorestown – before they were developed. What did their main streets look like? Can you imagine these towns NOT having a lot of houses in them?
