One generous SJ person – who wishes to remain anonymous – has once again supported Evesham Police Department’s four-legged officers, donating K-9 Tactical First Aid Field Kits, which allows handlers to provide life-saving emergency treatment if a dog is injured in the line of duty. The department’s K-9 unit, which was established in 2000 with three police canines from Holland, assists in county, state and federal searches.

This isn’t the first time the anonymous donor has helped the Evesham K-9 unit. Not long ago, the same donor helped cover the cost of surgery for one of the dogs after an on-the-job injury.
