If you’re walking down Landis Ave. in Vineland, you just might think you’ve entered an outdoor sculpture museum, but you’re still in the town’s center – just with a cool new artistic flare.
The town is the recipient of 6 outdoor sculptures on loan from Grounds For Sculpture. All were created by the parks’ famed artist and founder Seward Johnson. The sculptures were installed this summer to promote art and draw visitors to downtown Vineland.
The sculptures, which depict a dog and his owner, a mariachi duo, the iconic Times Square kiss on V-day, a solo trumpeter, 2 kids sharing ice cream and a woman in stormy weather, will be on display on Landis Ave. between N.W. Blvd and N. East Ave. until January.
