The competition to be named Jeopardy!’s Greatest of All Time took a Philly turn last night when Lancaster-native Brad Rutter gave a surprising answer to the Final Jeopardy question.

The question: These two foreign-born directors have each won two best director oscars, but none of their films has won best picture.

Rutter’s answer: Eagles Super Bowl LII Champs.

Clearly, that was not the answer host Alex Trebek was looking for (although we would have given him the points!) and Rutter cemented his third place standing going into match four.

Rutter is competing against James Holzhauer and Ken Jennings to win the title of Greatest Jeopardy! Player of All Time (a.k.a. The Jeopardy GOAT). The three are the highest earning Jeopardy! contestants ever, and Rutter is the highest-earning American game show contestant of all time. He’s won a total of $4,688,436 on Jeopardy!

So far in the tournament, Rutter has lost all three rounds, earning a total of $23,467. He may be behind, but he says the other contenders are exactly where he wants them.

The next round of Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time (round four) airs on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
