Gloucester County Wants You to Give an Animal a Home – For Free

If you’ve been considering giving a dog or a cat a home, you’re in luck. The Gloucester County Animal Shelter will waive adoption fees on February 28 in honor of World Spay/Neuter Day.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Dan Christy announced the event in hopes of helping more animals find a loving home. “We can think of no better way of celebrating World Spay Day than by doing as much as we can to find animals a good home,” Christy said.

For the fees to be waived on February 28, an adoption application must be pre-approved by February 24. Applications are available here.
