Garden State Film Festival

March 30, April 1 & 2
Take in a weekend of independent films at this year’s 15th Annual Garden State Film Festival. A $12 ticket gets you two hours-worth of screening time. You can also enjoy a cocktail party on Friday night, workshops, a black-tie awards dinner and professional panel discussions. Check the website for screening times and locations.


Ocean City Comic Convention

April 1 & 2
Make it a super weekend at the Ocean City Comic Convention. Browse comic book memorabilia at Ocean City Music Pier and test your speed during the Super Hero 1-mile run or obstacle dash. The convention runs from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Tickets cost $10 per day ($15 for two days) for adults and $5 per day ($8 for two days) for children 12 and under. The 1-mile run starts at 10 am on Saturday and costs $15 ($20 on race day) for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. S-Uber Training

Paws for Art

Enjoy a day of art and pups at the WheatonArts and Cultural Center in Millville. From 11 am to 4 pm, check out the WheatonBarks Dog Show, demonstrations, dog activities and kid-friendly arts and crafts. Pet owners and their dogs are welcome. This event is free.
