Five ways to spend Valentine’s Day

1 Explore chocolate’s dark side

Make decadent bark and chocolate cherry cordials at the Burlington County Agricultural Center in Mount Laurel at 6 pm on Feb. 14. Tickets are $40.

2 Renew your vows

Absecon Lighthouse continues its tradition with the annual celebration of love on February 11th. For a minimum donation of $40, couples can renew their vows at the lighthouse, join in a celebratory champagne toast and take a romantic climb up the  lighthouse steps. The event begins at 6 pm.

3 Hit the wine & chocolate trail

Enjoy 20 different wines during this 2-day celebration of all things wine (and chocolate!). Wine connoisseurs and beginners are welcome. Event runs on Feb. 11 and 12 from 11 am to 5 pm and repeats Feb. 18 and 19 at Amalthea Cellars in Atco.

4 Make a reservation

Whether your idea of the perfect date is surf & turf or pub fare, you can find the perfect restaurant to indulge in romance. (Check out our dining guide for a list of restaurants!)

5 Singalong with divas

Caught up in a bad romance? Tribute artists covering Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez belt out the blues and romantic ballads at the Women of Pop! concert on Feb. 17 at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. Show begins at 8 pm and tickets are $30.
