The Food Bank of South Jersey wants to turn the biggest weekend for football into the biggest weekend for fighting hunger – but it needs your help.

The non profit has provided a list of ways you can organize your own drive while cheering on the Eagles during the Souper Bowl campaign. Participants can choose to collect cans of soup or monetary donations leading up to the big game, or start a virtual food drive.

Food donations besides soup will also be accepted (find a list of the most needed items here), and the organization encourages participants to set a collection goal. Once you have gathered your items, email kdejesus@foodbanksj.org or call 856-662-4884 to schedule a drop-off time.

As a bonus, the food bank asks that donators snap a photo with their collection and post it with the hashtag #TackleHunger to help spread the word and share support for fighting hunger.
