This Crayola Crayon Color Announced Its Retirement

With a video posted to Twitter, Crayola announced the retirement of its Dandelion color crayon.

The original plan was to release the reveal on Friday, in honor of National Crayon Day, but Thursday’s post hinted that Dandelion couldn’t wait.

Crayola will be replacing Dandelion with a new color that hasn’t been decided yet. But they did give two hints during their Facebook Live stream Friday morning: it will be part of the blue family, and fans can help choose the new color’s name this summer.
