Camden County Seniors Can Claim Free Fans to Beat the Heat

Senior citizens in Camden County will be able to claim free fans to help beat the summer heat during the Covid-19 pandemic.

All you have to do is visit the drive-thru distribution site across the street from the Health Department Campus (512 Lakeland Road, Gloucester Township). The distribution will begin at 11 am on July 15 and attendees are asked to wear a mask and maintain social distancing when possible.

Any Camden County resident over the age of 60 with an income of $25,000 or less qualifies for the program hosted by the Division of Senior and Disabled Services. The group will be distributing up to 500 fans on a first come, first served basis.

“The pandemic has changed how we deliver these services, but we are making sure that seniors have access to the resources they need to stay cool and safe this summer,” says Camden County Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez.

For more information, call the Camden County Division of Senior Services at 856-858-3220.
