Burlington County is hosting free paper shredding events for Burlington County residents.

The next event is on April 8. Residents with valid ID can bring their confidential documents to Rowan College at Burlington County between 9 am and 1 pm to be safely shredded.

Up to four bags or boxes per car will be accepted, though binders, plastic folders, computer disks or plastic credit cards are not allowed. Paper that has already been shredded will also be accepted for recycling.

“We are happy to offer these events for responsible paper disposal which will help residents reduce the risk of identity theft and continue to expand recycling,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio.

For more information call (609) 499-1001 weekdays or email recycle@co.burlington.nj.us.
