5 Places to Learn and Have Fun

Check out these South Jersey adventures that combine learning and fun:

Jean and Ric Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University
Visitors can watch live star-gazing shows or attend one of the public shows, like Laser Taylor Swift at 7 pm on Fridays or Explore Mars at 3 pm on Sundays.

Burlington County Library System
Of course libraries are a great place to learn, but Burlington County takes that to the next level with plenty of events like make-and-take crafts, chess club and the read-to-a-dog program.

Adventure Aquarium
You’ll be amazed watching the massive tanks filled with hundreds of thousands of gallons of water and countless species. But you’ll truly be blown away by the aquarium’s touch programs, where you can pet stingrays, sharks and more critters.

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
Whether you’re planning a quick trip to the educational center or popping by for the You and Me Preschool program (happening on Sept. 9, 12 and 13), there’s plenty to learn about the wildlife in your own backyard.

Cape May County Park & Zoo
Explore the fascinating wildlife, from cheetah and giraffes to porcupine and reptiles, with the whole family. You can even get up-close-and-personal with some of the furry residents during the zoo’s many encounters. (We’re heading to the capybara first).
