Don’t let boredom get the best of your winter break – check out these South Jersey spots and activities to keep the fun going all winter long!

Drive(-in) to the Movies

Dec. 26
Katz JCC
Katz JCC is elevating a night at the drive-in with food trucks, giveaways and a screening of “Smallfoot.” The event begins at 6 pm and cost is $25 per person. For more information, visit the website.

Check Your Local Library

Libraries all around South Jersey put on programs every day to keep your little ones entertained – both in-person and online. Whether it’s a virtual book club or a craft hour (sometimes characters visit too!), there’s something for the whole family at your local library. The Camden County Library System is hosting a virtual dungeon and dragons game on Dec. 28, and the Burlington County Library branches are hosting winter break events like family game time, an escape room, a toddler dance party and DIY teen crafts.

Get Up Close and Personal with the Animals

Cape May County Park & Zoo
Cape May Court House
Bundle up to get up close with the animals at the Cape May County Park & Zoo. Grab the whole family and sign up for an animal encounter with a capybara, camels or reptiles to get some 1-on-1 time with the animals and zookeepers. Or, stop by on your own to get a look at lions, tigers and lots of other animals, without the summer crowds. For more information, visit the website.

Play with Fido for the Day

South Jersey has plenty of dog parks to explore with your four-legged friends. Take the kids and your pup to one of these parks for a day of outdoor fun.
