Comedy for a Cause

Take in a comedy show while raising money for Make-A-Wish NJ at DANCE 4a CAUSE. The night will feature a show, hors d’oeuvres, food stations and door prizes. Watch a performance based on the lives of equality activists Harriet Forten Purvis and Charlotte Forten Grimke to celebrate 100 years of women’s suffrage. Polar Plunge
February 22
Brave the cold to support the Philadelphia Police Fallen Heroes Fund, MRSA Awareness and local scholarships during the Fallen Heroes Polar Bear Plunge. Registration starts at 8:30 am to 15th street and the beach in North Wildwood, and the plunge happens at 11 am, followed by a post party at Keenan’s Irish Pub. Registration costs $35 in advance. Guided Nature Walk

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge’s new executive director, Dennis Miranda, will lead visitors on a nature walk to see the wildlife that call the refuge home. The walk runs from 10:30 am to 2 pm and is free with admission. For more information, visit the website.

Join Grounds For Sculpture for the next installment of its documentary discussion season with Pina, a film about modern dance choreographer Pina Bausch.
