The SJ Magazine Women of Excellence Business Excellence Award recognizes a woman who has demonstrated achievement, growth and success in a particular industry and is known to many as a woman who has made a difference in the business community and her profession.

This is exactly how anyone who’s worked with her would describe Mary Ann Boccolini.

After a decade as the president/CEO of Samaritan, Mary Ann Boccolini just announced her retirement. Under her leadership, Samaritan has seen unprecedented growth, including the opening of 2 in-patient hospice centers and the development of a comprehensive and growing family of life-enhancing services such as primary care at home, palliative medicine, hospice care, grief support, education and advocacy.

We were thrilled to be able to honor this exciting chapter in her career by naming her the Women of Excellence Business Excellence honoree.
