Miss New Jersey Earns Second Runner-Up Title at 2017 Miss America Pageant

This weekend, among the excitement of the Miss New Jersey pageant in Atlantic City, you may have noticed a familiar face in the final three contestants. Kaitlyn Schoeffel, Miss New Jersey 2017, was named second runner-up to Miss America.

Schoeffel began her pageantry career with a Miss New Jersey’s Outstanding Teen title in 2007, and she hasn’t slowed down since. The Egg Harbor Township resident has won a number of local titles and traveled the world as a performer – she’s visited 29 states and 23 countries – since her first pageant.
