Things to Do in South Jersey this June

We don’t have to wait for the first day of Summer to have plenty of summer fun. These South Jersey events promise family fun and boredom busting all month long. 

 

Jurassic Movie Nights 

June 5, 12, 26

Jurassic Park at a real fossil park? We’re in. The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum presents all three Jurassic Park movies on the big screen throughout June during their movie nights. Each night will feature two showings and include entry to the museum, a fossil quarry dig, Jurassic Park-Themed trivia and a Dino Dance Party. Tickets cost $30. Haddonfield Skirmish

June 6 

The Redcoats are coming! Dozens of Revolutionary War re-enactors will be taking to Kings Highway to reenact the 20-minute Skirmish that happened as the Redcoats headed to the Battle at Monmouth. The Skirmish starts at 1:30 pm in front of Indian King Tavern Museum, but historic events like breakfast with the troops, history faire, fife and drums performances and more will happen throughout the day. Bridge to Beach Bike-A-Thon 

June 7 

Support the American Cancer Society during their annual Bike-A-Thon event, stretching from Independence Mall in Philadelphia to Ventnor City. Four starting points are available for different route distances: Independence Mall, Cherry Hill East High School, Hammonton Lake Park and Egg Harbor City School District. Wear Orange Weekend 

June 8

Join Camden County to recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day and Wear Orange Weekend with a special concert, food and a resource fair at Wiggins Park. The free event begins at 6 pm, with music starting at 8 pm. For more information, visit the website.  

 

Juneteenth Celebration

June 13

Crafts & Collectibles Show

June 13

Paint & Sip

June 18

Juneteenth Freedom Day 

June 20

Juneteenth Parade & Festival 

June 20

The Cherry Hill African American Civic Association hosts its annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival with live music, food trucks, a petting zoo and more at Croft Farm in Cherry Hill. The free event runs from 10 am to 3 pm, with a rain date on June 21. For more information, visit the website

 

South Jersey PrideFest 

June 20

SoccerFest26

June 25–27

SoccerFest26 brings World Cup excitement to the Camden Waterfront with three days of free match screenings, international food, family-friendly activities, soccer clinics, local vendors, and South Jersey craft beverages. Sara the Turtle Festival
