The sun may go down, but that doesn’t mean it’s time for bed. Check out these fun activities that are just getting started when it gets dark out.
Glassboro
Not sure if you knew this, but you can really only watch the stars at night. Edelman Planetarium presents spring stargazing every Saturday starting at 5:30 pm. And once a month, the observatory stays open late for the public to visit and explore the night sky with telescopes.
Delsea
What’s better than a romantic movie? A romantic movie under the stars, of course. Pack up the car and head to Delsea Drive-in for a drive-in flick on one of their two jumbo screens.
Mt. Laurel
Spend a night hitting the arcade, doing loops on the Fun Twister, putting a perfect game and so much more all under one roof during Funplex After Dark. Your ticket includes unlimited indoor rides, a $5 arcade card, waterpark access in the summer, a game of bowling, access to three bars and all the fun you can pack into one night.
At Hammer & Stain Haddon – Haddon Township
South Jersey nights are for crafting and community. Join Hammer & Stain for a craft project – think painting wine glasses and seasonal table risers – and some snacks, plus BYO drinks, during their monthly sip and social club, hosted on Tuesday nights at 6 pm (or Friday mornings at 10 am).
Maple Shade
Add a little luxury to your night out with a private bowling suite that features 5 or 6 private lanes, lush retro seating, a private game center, DJ booth and more.
Millennium Skate World – Camden
The lights go down, the disco ball comes out and it’s time to skate the night away. Millennium Skate World hosts weekly 18+ skate nights with a DJ for an adults-only party.
Wildwood
Those Boardwalk lights look much better under a starry sky. Hit the boards after a day at the beach for three piers packed with games, rides, food and fun like the Runaway Tram coaster, funnel cake stands, balloon race and more. Stay a while, the piers are open until 10 or 11 pm most nights in the summer.
