8 Earth Day Events in South Jersey

Let’s give a huge thank you to Mother Nature by giving back this Earth Day at one of these nature-centric events. 

 

Community Clean-Up 

April 11 

10 am – 1 pm 

Black Run Preserve, Evesham

Free, registration requested

Help clean up Evesham’s Black Run Preserve with light trail maintenance and trash pick-up around the northern end of the preserve. The two-hour clean-up will begin at the Kettle Run Rd. Trailhead. For more information, and to register for the free event, visit the website

 

Earth Day Celebration

April 18 

Cape May County Park, Cape May Court House

10 am to 3 pm

Free

Green Festival 

April 18 

Irvin & Haddon Aves., Collingswood

9 am to 2 pm

Free

Learn to live green while shopping for plants, enjoying refreshments and live music during Collingswood’s Green Festival. Learn about the town’s bike share program, visit the composter and rain barrel sales and take home your own tree. For more information, visit the website

 

Spring Festival & Earth Day Celebration

Red Bank Battlefield, National Park

Suncatcher Craft

April 22 

Pemberton Library, Browns Mills 

4 to 5 pm 

Free

Earth Day BioBlitz 

April 24 

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, Medford

10 am to 4 pm 

Free with refuge admission

Join the refuge to find and identify as many species as possible as part of their BioBlitz. For more information, visit the website.
