6 South Jersey Fall Art Shows to check out

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – and also all over South Jersey. Visit some of these art shows if you need some proof. 

Fall Fine Arts Juried Exhibit

September 6 – October 3

The Medford Arts Center will be displaying a number of works both online and in gallery through the month as part of its juried show. Pieces can also be purchased. The gallery is open Fridays from 3 to 7 pm, Saturdays from 1 to 5 pm and Sundays from 1 to 3 pm. For more information, visit the website

Art Walk

September 14 

Get creative with more than 75 local artists displaying their works on Historic Smithville’s Village Greene. The free event, also featuring live music, runs from 10 am to 5 pm. For more information, visit the website

Crafts & Collectibles by the Sea

September 21 

Enjoy the salty air as you browse craft vendors on the lawn of the Emlen Physick Estate. The free event runs from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website

Clover Market

September 22 

Collingswood’s popular artist market returns with more than 100 vendors displaying handmade items and antiques and collectibles along with food trucks, live music and nonprofit organizations. The free event runs from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website

Tattoo Art Collective Exhibit

September 1 – 28

Reception: September 6 

Explore works of art from Tri-State area tattoo artists, from early sketches and tattoo-inspired works to tattoo designs on leather jackets. The show is on display on the second floor of the Historic Smithville Mansion, and a special reception will be hosted from 5 to 7 pm on September 6. For more information, visit the website

Festival of Fine Craft

October 5 & 6 

More than 125 artists are heading to WheatonArts to display their works during the site’s annual festival. The festival also features artist demonstrations, a beer and wine garden and family art activities. The event runs from 10 am to 5 pm each day, and tickets cost $12 for adults and $7 for students.
