5 South Jersey holiday festivals to check out

‘Tis the season to celebrate the holidays every chance we get. Luckily, South Jersey has plenty of holiday spirit to go around this month.

Winterfest
Break out the skates and grab a cup of hot cocoa – Camden County’s Winterfest is back for another season of holiday fun. The whole family can spend the day skating beside Cooper River, digging into festive foods and admiring the towering tree. Boro in Lights
Dec. 6
Watch as Glassboro lights up for its annual lights festival held at Glassboro Town Square, featuring food trucks, selfie stations, a live nativity, festive activities and more to celebrate the holiday season. Woodstown by Candlelight
Dec. 6
Santa’s on his way! Gather the whole family for an evening of holiday festivities, including a visit from Santa, live music, historic home tours, horse drawn carriage, a live nativity, holiday market and more. The event runs from 2 to 9 pm (with the holiday market starting at 5 pm) at the Creekside Inn Pavilion. Take in holiday lights by the sea at Wildwood’s seasonal celebration, featuring a light show every half hour and complimentary hot chocolate, popcorn and a letters to Santa station.
