5 Breast Cancer Awareness events in South Jersey

October is breast cancer awareness month, and there are plenty of ways you can support research and survivors. 

 

Survivors, Always in Fashion Show

October 17 

Take in a night of fashion to support the South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition during their fashion show fundraiser – where each model is a survivor. The night begins at 6 pm at Lucien’s manor. Tickets cost $75 and include dinner and an hour of wine and beer. For more information, visit the website

 

Pink Roses Teal Magnolias 

October 27 

Join the Cooper Foundation to raise money for breast and gynecological cancers research and honor their 2024 Rose and Teal heroes during its annual luncheon. Guests are encouraged to wear pink and/or teal. The event begins at 11 am at DoubleTree by Hilton in Cherry Hill, and tickets cost $150. For more information, visit the website

 

Making Strides Breast Cancer Walks

Making Strides hosts walks around the country through October to raise money and awareness for fighting breast cancer. There are three walks happening in South Jersey: 

Ocean City 

October 13 

OCNJ Civic Center
