Wayne Simmonds had a pretty good weekend.
The Flyer’s right wing was named MVP of the NHL All-Star game after scoring the game-winning goal in the championship round. It’s a fitting ending to his first appearance on the All-Star team – especially in the city where he began his hockey career.
