Former Philadelphia Eagle Jon Dorenbos stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to give the comedian an update on his heart condition.

After being traded to the New Orleans Saints (DeGeneres’ favorite team) in September, a mandatory physical assessment revealed that the former long snapper was living with a serious heart defect, would never be able to play again and needed surgery.

Six weeks post-open heart surgery, he is now retired from football and chatted with DeGeneres about being recently married and the newest addition to his family. Check out the segment below!
