Connor Barwin was declared the NFL’s biggest indie rock fan by Pitchfork earlier this year, and the Eagles defensive end proved his passion this weekend in a promotional video for Philly indie rocker, Kurt Vile.

Standing outside the Fillmore with Vile and his brother, Paul “Jelloman” Vile, Barwin talked about Vile’s upcoming NYE show and the big Eagles game against the Cowboys on New Years’ Day. The video finished, obviously, with Barwin sacking Vile and carrying him off-camera.
