Our favorite USWNT member, Carli Lloyd, started Friday morning with a normal run – but she wasn’t prepping for game day. She was getting ready for a different big day, where she’d (temporarily) trade her cleats for a gown.
On a beach in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, Lloyd married her high school sweetheart, Brian Hollins, in an intimate ceremony on November 4. The two have been engaged since January 2013, but started dating 15 years earlier in South Jersey while attending Delran High School. They decided on a long engagement to wait until the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro had passed.
