As a Senior Media Account Executive, you’ll work directly with business owners and marketing leaders to create marketing solutions that help their business grow. You’ll inherit an established portfolio of client accounts while building your own book of business, giving you the best of both worlds: immediate opportunities and unlimited long-term earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and close new business through networking, prospecting, referrals and cold outreach.
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of client accounts.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Create customized marketing solutions using print, digital, social media, video and event sponsorships.
- Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Represent SJ Mag Media at networking events, community events and company-sponsored programs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in media, advertising, marketing or another consultative sales environment.
- A proven track record of finding and closing new business.
- Confidence initiating conversations with new prospects by phone, email and in person.
- Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently while managing your own sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with the South Jersey business community.
Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000-$80,000, based on experience; Realistic total earnings: $130,000+ annually
- Uncapped commission
- Guaranteed base salary from day one (not a recoverable draw)

Work Location
This position is primarily remote, but you’ll spend much of your time meeting clients throughout the South Jersey region. Candidates should live within the market and be available for client meetings, networking events and several company events each year.
