I am in the Eagles’ hotel in Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. Players and coaches have the morning off. It will be a long day. Tonite is Opening Nite, where both teams answer questions from about 3,000 credentialed media.

I texted head coach Doug Pederson and asked him what his message to the team will be today.

Here is what he texted back:

Good morning Sal,

I’ll meet with them later this morning but I’m going to relay to them again about Mental Clutter, we have to keep it to a minimum this week, coaches and players. Stay in the moment but enjoy it. Commit for one more week to each other.
