Nicole Donoian-Pody has 25 years of practicing family law with a particular focus on advising families whose divorce includes unique issues, like substantial marital estates and business valuations. As a certified family law mediator, Donoian-Pody also offers alternatives to traditional litigation, which she says is often less expensive and quicker than going to court. “More importantly it can be easier for those involved,” Donoian-Pody explains. “Mediation allows both parties to come together and agree on what is best for their family.”

“The work we do is very personal and meaningful,” she says. “It affects our clients’ everyday lives. They have daunting concerns – how often will they see their children? What will be their financial situation upon divorce? When I walk out of a courtroom having secured time for my client who was being denied time with their child, then I know I made a difference.”
