“IVF has changed so dramatically over the years. Every day brings new developments, making it so exciting.”

HELPING BUILD FAMILIES
Louis Manara, DO, has helped hundreds of infertile individuals and couples have babies. While most patients do not require complex approaches,

Dr. Manara and his team at the Center For Reproductive Medicine and Fertility can provide highly technical treatment options including In Vitro Fertilization, Oocyte Donation, Embryo Cryopreservation and Assisted Zona Hatching. The practice also offers a Gestational Carrier Program.

ADVANCED TREATMENT FOR MEN
New, significant advances in treating male infertility have reshaped the field of infertility. “In the past, options for men with low or abnormal sperm counts were limited, often involving basic surgical interventions by urologists,” Dr. Manara says. The game-changer came in the early ’90s with the introduction of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). This technique uses precision equipment to inject a single sperm directly into an egg, effectively overcoming many challenges of male infertility.

IN HIS WORDS
“I have always considered it a privilege to work with couples who want to have children. Resolving infertility as quickly as possible in a pleasant and supportive environment has always been our team’s goal.”

ABOUT DR. MANARA
A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Manara did his OB/GYN internship and residency at UMDNJ (now Rowan School Of Medicine) and later completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Pennsylvania Hospital. He returned to UMDNJ as Sub-Section Director of Reproductive Endocrinology, developing one of the first successful IVF programs in New Jersey before establishing his solo practice.
