Kiomeiry Csépes’ perspective on immigration law was shaped by her own family’s experience. Born in Puerto Rico, she spoke no English when she migrated to New Jersey as a young girl with her mother. Today, Kiomeiry’s law practice focuses on victim-based immigration, family-based immigration, real estate and family law, including high-asset divorce.

“I want to help my clients and make them feel they have someone looking out for their interests. Knowing I’ve had some part in changing their lives for the better also brings me a lot of joy,” she says. “I represent many unaccompanied minors entering the US and women escaping from domestic violence situations. They often don’t speak English, don’t know how the legal system works and feel they’re in a hopeless situation.

For clients considering divorce, she offers a free book: “Pre-Divorce Checklist: What to Do Before You File the Petition of Divorce.”

Kiomeiry understands that her clients are going through a stressful time in their life, so she is committed to guiding and assisting her clients so they may reach their goals. “I love knowing I had a hand in making someone’s life better,” she says.
