Karen Rose Karpousis, Esq.
Since 1992, Karen Rose Karpousis has dedicated her entire career to guiding families through difficult times by understanding her clients’ concerns. “Whether someone is going through a divorce, custody battle or is a victim of domestic violence, I strive to make the worst times in their lives better,” says Karpousis. “I truly care about each client and pride myself on being compassionate, responsive and effective as their attorney. My job is to interpret the law as it relates to their unique situation and explain how their goals fit within it.”
Karpousis, who is also a certified family law mediator, combines her knowledge and skill to provide clients with assertive representation. Her genuine concern for each client is reflected in those special moments when “former clients call me, not for legal help but because they want to tell me they received a promotion or their child graduated from college. That’s the most rewarding part of my job,” she says.
For Karpousis supporting the community is deep-rooted having grown up in a family who believes in “paying it forward.” She frequently serves as a volunteer attorney for SJLS and mentors at the Alice Paul Institute. Karpousis has proudly served as the UPenn’s Gymnastics Chairperson since 2007 and actively supports Juvenile Diabetes Research and a myriad of other local charities.
