K.C. Isdaner
Real estate seems to run in K.C. Isdaner’s blood. He’s the third generation to be involved in the industry – and he’s been gaining practical experience since childhood.
“When I was young, my father would take me with him to work,” says Isdaner of his father, who was a commercial real estate broker. “Whenever there was a problem with a building, he would grab me to go along with him.”
Real estate remained one of Isdaner’s primary interests throughout school. Today, the University of Maryland alumnus has been part of the team at the Bloom Organization since 1996. The company is a professional property management group that has a strong footprint in South Jersey, with 90 buildings totaling 2.5 million square feet of commercial space.
As Bloom’s chief operating officer, Isdaner oversees daily operations, directing everything from the leasing department to construction management.
“I make it all flow together,” he says. “The great thing about the real estate business is every day’s not the same.”
One of the biggest reasons Isdaner thinks clients are attracted to Bloom is the company’s extensive resources and proven experience. As a full-time property management company, the team at Bloom has learned how to react efficiently and quickly to the needs of tenants.
The company also shows an impressive commitment to the community – something that mirrors Isdaner’s own goals.
“We have a philosophy of giving back,” Isdaner says. “We support a lot of different charities in South Jersey, where we all live and work. We do projects as a company and as individuals.”
One particular thought has guided Isdaner during his years in real estate and community service: “You need to trust people,” he says. “You need to treat people with respect and communicate with them.”
