Christopher Esposito, DMD
For Christopher Esposito, DMD, dentistry is all about family.
He and his brother Charles, who are both graduates of Temple University School of Dentistry, are partners in their dental practice.
“People always ask me what it’s like to work with my brother,” Esposito says of Charles. “We get along really well, and it’s nice to be able to be partners with someone you know has your best interest, as well as the same ideals.”
One of those ideals is the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere at the dental practice. Esposito Family Dental has been a fixture of the South Jersey community since the 1970s, explains Esposito, so maintaining that familiar feeling is important to the brothers and their dedicated staff.
“We strive to treat every patient just like we would treat our own family members. We take the time to listen and understand our patients’ problems and concerns,” says Esposito. “I also focus on building long-lasting, trust-based relationships while meeting the unique needs of each patient.”
Esposito is also known for his gentle care and non-threatening manner, which helps put both adults and children at ease. “Guiding them through the process to where they feel comfortable receiving treatment is rewarding,” he says.
Another rewarding aspect of his dental practice, says Esposito, is his volunteer work with the American Dental Association’s Give Kids a Smile program, which provides free dental services to children in need.
Esposito, along with his staff members, also dedicates his time to staying abreast of the latest dental technology and techniques.
“It’s something we try very hard to do, because it’s necessary to stay informed,” says Esposito. “We are constantly, through continuing education or keeping up with journals, trying to make sure we’re up-to-date on the latest materials. Dentistry is changing at an ever-increasing rate these days.”
