Dr. Barry Gleimer is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon who has been providing innovative and state-of-the-art orthopedic care to his community for over 30 years. His scope of orthopedic care includes treatment of traumatically injured patients and sports injuries, and his advanced training in arthroscopic and open surgeries of the shoulder (including reverse shoulder replacements) has solidified his reputation as a leader in his field. With that professional expertise comes better results for his patients. Dr. Gleimer performs most of his surgical procedures through incisions with plastic surgical closures to ensure cosmetically pleasing results. Plus, these modern techniques result in speedier recovery with less pain for patients.

CREDENTIALS
Born in Brooklyn, Dr. Gleimer graduated from Case Western Reserve University with the honors of magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He received his medical training at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital System. He underwent additional training in hand surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Gleimer continues to be active academically as a clinical instructor teaching medical students, interns and residents in the field of orthopedics for the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine.
