Amy Smith, Esq.
Amy Smith focuses her practice on all types of family law, relying on her 24 years of experience helping clients reach positive outcomes.
“What sets our firm apart is that we genuinely care about our clients,” says the co-founder of Weinberg Kaplan & Smith.
Smith started her career working in the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, gaining trial experience in domestic violence, drug cases, robberies and other criminal proceedings. The intense, fast-paced work, she says, gave her valuable experience that continues to give her an edge as a family law attorney.
Today, Smith is a board member of Volunteer UP Legal Clinic, and a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist for Burlington and Gloucester counties. She also volunteers for Project SARAH and serves as a teen mentor for Alice Paul Institute. In 2019, she was honored as “Women’s Advocate of the Year” by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) South Jersey.
“The one thing that’s the same with every case and every client is that I care,” she says, “I can be nice, but I can also be very aggressive about pursuing a good outcome. My goal, always, is to help people get to the other side.”
