Third graders at Glassboro’s Dorothy L. Bullock Elementary School turned to hip hop to help save the animals.
For their application to the Philadelphia Zoo’s UNLESS Contest, a project to get children involved in helping animals around the world, Mrs. Paulsen’s class decided to advocate for saving water. Particularly, the effect water waste has on the Golden Lion Tamarins.
The class adjusted the lyrics to Juju On That Beat to talk about different ways to conserve water. Then, they performed their new song – and the hit dance.
