This month, the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees will be hosting “Raining Cats,” a low-cost adoption promotion to help get kitties out of the shelter into new homes – and its thanking one of the sponsors in the most adorable way.

As a token of gratitude, the organization has named two of its adoptable litters after the Camden County Board of Freeholders who helped sponsor the event. That’s right: you can adopt one of these little fuzzy namesakes who go by Edward, Jeffrey, “McD,” William, Louis, Susan, Jonathan, Cappelli or Junior. (Carmen, Louis and Nash have already gone to their fur-ever homes!)

The AWA’s Raining Cats promotion will run until July 31. Kittens are $50 to adopt, and cats are $25. To learn more, visit the Animal Welfare Association.
